BG-20k Dataset v1.0 contains 20,000 high-resolution background images excluding salient objects, serving as good candidates for generating high-quality synthetic matting data. The dataset is aimed to aid research efforts in the area of image matting and related topics.

Please follow the BG-20k Dataset v1.0 Release Agreement you have signed for any actions.

- train.txt contains name of images in BG-20k train/ folder, which can be used for generating synthetic train data.

- testval.txt contains name of images in BG-20k testval/ folder, which can be used for generating synthetic test/validation data.
